Depression

Depression is more than just feeling sad or having a bad day—it is a persistent mood disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, and functions. Symptoms may include deep sadness, loss of interest in once-enjoyed activities, changes in sleep and appetite, low energy, difficulty concentrating, and feelings of hopelessness or worthlessness.

With eight years of experience treating mood disorders across the lifespan, I provide comprehensive, compassionate care for individuals struggling with depression. I understand how isolating and overwhelming this condition can feel, and I create a safe space where patients can openly share their experiences without judgment.

My evidence-based approach combines medication management with supportive therapy to address both the biological and emotional aspects of depression. I work collaboratively with patients to find the right treatment approach—whether that includes antidepressants, lifestyle adjustments, or coping strategies tailored to their unique needs.

Through trauma-informed, person-centered care, I help patients move beyond simply surviving each day to rediscovering joy, meaning, and connection in their lives. Family involvement is welcomed when appropriate, as support systems play a vital role in recovery.

The goal is to guide each individual from a place of darkness and numbness toward renewed hope, stability, and emotional well-being.
