Conduct Disorder

Conduct disorder is a serious behavioral and emotional condition that occurs in children and adolescents, characterized by a persistent pattern of violating the rights of others or disregarding age-appropriate social norms. Behaviors may include aggression toward people or animals, destruction of property, deceitfulness, theft, or serious rule violations such as running away or truancy. These behaviors extend beyond typical teenage rebellion and significantly impair academic, social, and family functioning.

With eight years of experience providing psychiatric care across the lifespan—including children and adolescents—I offer specialized, compassionate support for young people struggling with conduct disorder and their families. I understand the profound stress and concern that parents and caregivers experience when traditional discipline and support strategies aren't enough.

My evidence-based approach combines medication management for co-occurring conditions like ADHD, depression, or anxiety with therapeutic interventions that address underlying emotional dysregulation and behavioral patterns. I work collaboratively with families to develop consistent, effective strategies that promote positive behavioral change while strengthening the parent-child relationship.
